Born and raised in Chicago, Mauricio also known as DJ MV moved to Arizona back in 2005 after graduating high school to attend ASU.  while attending school, he joined a radio station called 101.5 Jamz, starting out as an intern eventually making it on-air as a mixer doing weekend nights.  Following some great djs such as Jairo V and DJ Flipside of Chicago and DJ Chris Villa, DJ Decipha and MikeeMike of Arizona, he has picked up some tips and tricks along the way.  Starting small and slow, DJ MV would volunteer to dj house parties for his friends and family events.  For a couple of years, DJ MV was doing street events at local high schools, events and concerts that the station held.  Finally getting his chance to debut on the radio back in 2010 with Just Chilly, he did the show for almost 2 years.  DJ MV's first club gig was at Crave on Mill Ave in Tempe.  Working in radio, DJ MV has had the opportunity to work with some great DJs opening for DJ Decipha at Suite 301, DJ Chris Villa at Zuma and Convince at Firehouse Tempe and Scottsdale.  Still working for the station which now called Live 1015, you can currently catch him djing Loco Patron Friday nights and local events throughout the valley.
